The Medical Center of Dimmitt now Offers the ASN Program

The Medical Center of Dimmitt is proud to announce that they now offer a new program known as Adult Safety Net (ASN). This program provides low-cost vaccines to persons 19 years of age and older who do not have health insurance. The program was created by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) Immunization Unit to increase access to vaccination services in Texas for uninsured adults. Antibiotics Do Not Work on Colds and the Flu

This week, November 12 – 16 is Antibiotic Awareness Week. Cologuard and DNA Stool Testing

Castro County Healthcare introduces Cologuard DNA stool testing through the Medical Center of Dimmitt. This DNA stool testing is intended to screen adults of either sex, 50 years or older, who are at average risk for colon cancer. Cologuard is also covered by Medicare.
