CCHD Welcomes New Physician, Dr. Refugio Alvarez

Castro County Healthcare (CCHD) is excited to announce Dr. Refugio Alvarez, a new physician at the Medical Center of Dimmitt and Plains Memorial Hospital. Dr. Alvarez has been working in the hospital ER for a few months but has also been seeing patients by appointment at the Medical Center of Dimmitt since October 1, 2019.   Previously, Dr. Alvarez was working for a company that had ER coverage at hospitals, mainly in smaller, rural areas. Castro County Healthcare welcomes back one of their own, Dr. Gregorio Matos.
