Country View Living Awaiting Inspections

Construction has been completed on Country View Living (CVL), the new senior living facility for Castro County Hospital District (CCHD).  The furniture and equipment have been delivered and setup along with the Starbucks kiosk.  The landscaping will be completed by March 20, 2019 according to Paradise Landscaping from Lubbock, Texas. CCHD is waiting for the Texas Department of Health and Human Services to schedule a life safety inspection according to Laura Kimball, Administrator for CVL.  The life safety inspection is a scheduled inspection that will last three to four days.  [...]

Why Antibiotics Are Not Always the Answer

CCHD Honors their Employees for their Years of Service

Castro County Healthcare (CCHD) recognized 175 years of service last Thursday, January 24at their Years of Service Reception. The employees that were honored had each reached a milestone in their careers at CCHD, ranging from five to 30 years of service. Country View Living Construction Coming to an End

Construction of a new long-term care and assisted living facility in Dimmitt, Texas is quickly coming to an end.  Castro County Hospital District is building and will be responsible for the new facility, Country View Living.  The 45,000 square foot facility featuring a separate chapel, rehab area, fitness room, salon, community room and six outdoor patios will accommodate just about every need of the residents.
