In August of 2017, Castro County Healthcare District (CCHD) introduced a new family medicine practitioner, Dr. Stephanie Bryan, Doctor of Osteopathy (DO). Bryan comes to CCHD from Waurika, Okla. Castro County Healthcare District (CCHD) welcomed Sheila Higgins, Family Nurse Practitioner (NP), to their full-time staff in December. Higgins has been working for the Medical Center of Dimmitt for the past year part time while practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Hereford, Texas for the past five and half years. “I am so happy to be home serving Castro County and the surrounding areas,” said Higgins.
