MAY EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH, CONGRATULATIONS CAROLE HOPSON!
We are excited to recognize long-time CCHD nurse, Carole Hopson! Carole became a nurse through the Amarillo College Vocational Nurse Program in 1985, attending classes in both Dimmitt and Hereford. She has been a nurse at CCH for almost twenty years. She started at Plains Memorial Hospital as a ward clerk in 1981 and then trained to become a nurses aid under Ray Cato, LVN.

Carole is proud to be a part of the CCH team. "I get to be a part of an amazing facility whose main goal is helping patients and our community. I also get to be part of the CCH Patient Task Force which helps patients remain in their homes as long as possible," remarked Hopson. Her favorite part of working at CCH is working every day with an amazing staff. "Some of us have worked together for over 30 years. We are all family here. I am fortunate to have been able to work with Dr. Hardee for 29 years."

When not working, Hopson enjoys spending time with family, especially her two granddaughters. She also likes to cook and garden at home which helps her relax.

We are incredibly fortunate to have Carole as a part of the CCH team! Her dedication to serving and caring for our patients with the highest standards is an inspiration and perfectly supports our mission at CCHD: to provide quality, ethical, and cost-effective healthcare services that improve the health of the communities we serve. Thank you, Carole!
