New COO Named at Castro County Hospital District

CCHD Names Elisha Graham to New COO Position

Castro County Hospital District is pleased to announce the promotion of current Quality, Ethics, and Compliance Officer, Elisha Graham, to Chief Operations Officer.

“I’m looking forward to the challenge of a new role and taking on more day-to-day management decisions as COO,” stated Graham.

Graham has been a key asset since joining the District while still in college. Graham started an internship at Plains Memorial Hospital while completing an RN degree from West Texas A&M University. Graduating in 2007, she then took a full-time RN position with PMH.  In 2010 she was promoted to QEC Officer, responsible for the coordination, development, implementation and evaluation of the hospital’s overall quality, ethics, and compliance (QEC) program. As COO, she will continue these responsibilities, in addition to taking on more day-to-day operation management.

“I am very fortunate to be working at Plains Memorial Hospital. We have an incredible Administration and Hospital Board that hold this hospital to the highest standards for our patients and continues to help improve the community. I have the benefit of working alongside amazing employees who have become family and the value they hold to go the extra mile for the patients in this community.  I am grateful for the support and the opportunity to continue to grow in my career,” commented Graham.

Graham has deep roots in the area. She grew up in Hereford and lived in Friona for a time.  Her parents are from Nazareth as well. She currently lives in Canyon with her seven year old son, Brady. When she isn’t working, she enjoys golf, skiing, reading and spending time with family.
